Colorado musicians Cary Morin (guitar, vocals), Celeste Di Iorio (harmony vocals), Luke Hunter

(bass & vocals), and Josh Vogeler (drums, percussion, & vocals) unite to form a high-energy

roots rock band, intent on getting folks up and out of their seats!

Described as “one of the best acoustic pickers on the scene today,” Cary Morin brings together

the great musical traditions of America like no other. With deft fingerstyle guitar and vocals that

alternately convey melodic elation and gritty world-weariness, Morin crafts an inimitable style

often characterized as roots-infused Native Americana with hints of bluegrass, folk, blues, and

rock. He has performed at renowned venues across the globe, including the Kennedy Center and

Lincoln Center, and is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades.

“ ‘Cary Morin is a unique and brilliant guitar player, songwriter and singer, ‘ says

renowned folk musician David Bromberg, extolling the virtues of one of his favorite

players. ‘It’s hard to pick out what he does best. As a guitar player, I have huge respect

for Cary’s style and technique on the guitar. If you haven’t heard him yet, you should.

Try to remember that it’s only one guitar.’ “

- Dan Forte for Taylor Wood & Steel Magazine, June 2018.

Luke Hunter, a Colorado native, has been playing bass for over fifteen years. He has been the

tour manager for local band, Write Minded, for the past two years and has worked in music

production for fifteen plus years.

Josh Vogeler was formally trained as a percussionist in school bands while growing up in St.

Louis. Frequent trips to New Orleans played a big role in the enrichment of his rhythmic

sensibility. Home based in Colorado since 2002, Josh has not only made a name for himself as a

drummer, but also as a guitar playing singer songwriter. He’s been drumming with House With a

Yard since 2017 and recently joined Ghost Dog in 2023.

Celeste Di Iorio, having been involved in dance, theater, and music for many years, has worked

both in bands and as a soloist. Her inspired vocals help shape the signature sound of Ghost Dog.

A tribute to the American South, Morin’s seventh solo release, Dockside Saints, merges Cary’s

celebrated style of Native Americana with the spirit and sounds of Cajun, Creole and Zydeco

music. The album was produced and engineered by multi-Grammy winner Tony Daigle at the

renowned Dockside Studio. Listen at DocksideSaints.com. When I Rise won the 2019 Indigenous

Music Award for Best Blues CD. Cary has won numerous awards for his work, particularly for

his 2017 release, Cradle to the Grave. He is the recipient of the 2018 Independent Music Awards

for Best Blues CD (Cradle to the Grave), a 2018 International Songwriting Competition

Honorable Mention for Cradle to the Grave, a 2018 Native Arts and Cultures Fellowship, a 2017

First Peoples Fund Artist in Business Leadership Fellowship, the 2017 Indigenous Music Awards

for Best Blues CD (Cradle to the Grave), 2019 for Best Blues CD (When I Rise). 2015

Indigenous Music Awards Nominee for Best Folk Album (Tiny Town), 2014 Indigenous Music

Awards Nominee for Aboriginal Entertainer of the Year, 2013 & 2014 Colorado Blues Challenge

Solo Championship, and a 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fort Collins Music
