The Steel Stampede May 4-5th 2024
Central Oregon’s longest running Vintage Motocross and Trials event. A family friendly trip back in time to the heyday of motorcycle racing. AHRMA racing organization covers motorcycles pre 1974.

The Steel Stampede event is held on the East motor sports grounds. That entrance is located on SW Elkhorn Ave. Travel south on SW 19th street to Elkhorn Ave. Signs will begin at the gravel road.

$20 per person at gate for the weekend.

Gates open at 3pm
Pit set up only
No testing / tuning / no riding
Saturday, May 4th
Trials start at 10am
Vmx practice at 3pm
Tech inspection open for vmx at 3pm
Sunday, May 5th
Registration and Riders meeting
VMX Morning races start at 9am
Exhibition 110cc or less race 12pm
Exhibition open vintage race 12:30pm
VMX Afternoon races start at 1:30pm
Gates close at 8pm
There is dry camping allowed on site, no hook ups available.
No camp fires, small propane warmers are allowed.
No dogs off leash, zero tolerance.
Expo Center RV park is located near by for early arrivals or late stay. Reserve your space now.
