Yoga has been popularized by only one element of the practice-- the physical asanas. A true yoga practice includes strengthening the awareness of connection between: Self, Others & The World Around You. This 4 class series is designed for ages 9 -13 and focuses on creating community and fostering mindfulness through sensory exploration, movement, journaling, meditation, art and discussion. Each session tween yogis leave with a take home craft & journal prompts to carry the theme of the day. This series will focus on exploring the chakra system:
Session 1: Heart Chakra 💚
Session 2: Solar Plexus ☀️
Session 3: Third Eye Chakra 🔮
Session 4: Throat Chakra 🌀
Tuesdays: January 16 + 23 + 30 // February 6
4:30-6pm
➡️ Drop off starts @ 4:30pm; program starts at 4:45pm.
End of the program is 5:45pm, pick up by 6pm.
First & last 15 minutes of class is for independent journal + art project time 📚
